New York Kollel
The NY Kollel is located in the biggest Jewish population center in the world, and combines intense educational work in SAR high school with an Evening Beit Midrash program which targets community members in Riverdale and Manhattan. The Kollel seeks to set an idealistic and Zionistic agenda, to project Torat Eretz Yisrael, and strengthen the connection to the Land of Israel.
This year the kollel has moved to the Bronx, and will be learning in SAR High School the whole day- helping out in classes in the morning and afternoon (see Special Programs- Beit Midrash Fellows), and running a Beit Midrash for adults at night.
Rav Harel Gordin is going on to his second year as a Rosh Kollel, continuing to add his special aspect to the kollel.
The Kollel is currently learning masechet 'Ktubot'
