The Kollel in Omaha was initiated in Septemeber of 1999 with the arrival of Rabbi Shlomo Levin, his wife Noa and children Yaakov and Talia from Jerusalem.
The new Kollel program appealed to the community because of its openness to Jews of all branches and all levels of learning, and has received the support of several local rabbis.
