The Jewish Community of Stockholm consists of about 5,500 members, but this number may be as high as 8,500. The community was found about 230 years ago, as a mainly Reform community, and it was only post WWII that Holocaust survivors from East Europe joined the community and built an Orthodox one.
There is a vibrant Jewish community center, but most activities are based on Art, Sports and youth meetings. Any and all activities that are connected to Judaism, tradition and the State of Israel, are initiated by the Kollel members.
Jewish summer camps are held for various age groups in June-July.
The Kollel is currently learning M'sechet Ta'anit.
